Easter Fun

Watching Jason and his cousin Peyton hunt Easter Eggs was such fun and a fond reminder of the tradition we had at my Grandpa Holk's house on the river...running around the yard looking for the brightly colored plastic eggs with prizes hidden inside. It was usually either plain M&M's, M&M peanuts, or a well placed shiny new dime we found inside.

Easter is a special time for me. In 2007 it was the last holiday we had with Brad. This was our second Easter with him living in Heaven...somehow there are times I can sense his presence so Heaven must not be that far away.

Because of the empty tomb on that Easter so long ago I have all assurance that Brad is in Heaven and we will see each other again. Praise be to the God of Grace and Mercy.

We were league co-champions and the medal was for his first ever home run. It was a three run homer. I helped coach.
